Attractions
So what is so great about Roman-Britain? Well, the number one thing is the amazing sights! As mentioned before, there are so many to see! Some include Hadrian's Wall, built to keep the northern tribes out, the Chester Roman Amphitheater, the Temple of Mithras, and so much more! The only hard part about your trip will be deciding which ones to go see!
Accommodations
Now you are probably wondering what type of accomodations are available (though, if you are staying with a relative this won't be a problem). We are happy to say that there is a wide variety of places to spend the night in Roman-Britain! There are several good quality inns, among one of the best is an inn called Optima Taberna. This particular inn has never recieved a rating below five stars and always has treated its guests with great care! However, inns are not the only places to stay. Some of the very lucky and very well-respected Roman citizens might be invited to stay in one of the palaces located throughout Roman-Britain!
Similarities and Differences
Designed and built by Romans themselves, the palaces may look very similar to the ones back home, from the floorplan to what is planted in the garden. The villas will look similar, as well. However, there will be slight differences because of the different environment and the different functional needs. For example, the villas in Roman-Britain may have more need of a workshop than a study because their chief export is metal material and they have to have a place to work with it. The villas in Roman-Britain will also be more spaced out than they are in Rome because it was 'recently' settled. Therefore, a lot of them haven't been able to be built yet.
