Elysium Gardens: Elysium is a place where the chosen of the gods lived. It was supposed to be a paradise. One probably named their garden after a place like that to give it the same feel.
Caduceus: The caduceus is the simple of medical companies. It represents how they care for all, just like the god of travelers, Mercury.

Pandora's Box: Pandora's Box is also referenced quite frequently in TV shows. They use the conflict of not opening the box and releasing all manners of evil to their advantage. However, they do twist it around a little to suit their needs.
Prometheus: Prometheus is referred to frequently as well. He is referred to whenever one shows boldness and creativity.

Roman Gladiators: In modern times, we can find the influence of gladiators at any cage fighting match and mixed martial art fight. They all have one thing in common: they make two people fight for entertainment. Gladiator fighting has influenced what people watch for entertainment in modern times.
Roman Invasion of Britain: The Roman invasion of Britain has influenced modern times because it brought many new things to the land and made the tribes that lived there start progressing to a more urbanized society. The invasion brought around a new way of doing things. Many of the builidings and temples that were once there during Roman times are still there to this day.
Pompeii: Pompeii has contributed to modern times because it has allowed us to look into the daily life of a Roman. It has provided us with so much information about how the Romans used to live and what they used to do. It has become an excellent mine of information and an outstanding tourist sight.
Classical Theater: Classical theater has influenced modern times greatly, as well. To this day, we still have theaters around the world where plays are performed. Without the influence of Rome, these theaters may not have come to be.
